Digital books: Creative language learning with Keynote!

Our Year 2 and 3 learners have been busy putting their Keynote skills into action by creating interactive translation books to help others learn body part names in Te Reo Māori. This was a creative, meaningful way for our students to apply what they've learnt in a real-world context, with the added bonus of sharing their work with others across the school.

It was awesome to see students so engaged—problem-solving, collaborating and proudly sharing their knowledge. Not only did this reinforce the digital skills we’ve been learning, but it also supported their language learning and confidence using Te Reo Māori. This project really showed how Keynote can be used as a powerful creative tool in the primary classroom—when students create for a purpose, the learning sticks!
