The Photos app includes powerful tools for enhancing your photos and for keeping all your pictures and videos organized in a single, searchable library. Create a photo album of student work or collect videos of science experiments.
Open Photos and tap a photo or video to open it.
Enhance a photo or video. Tap Edit, tap Auto Enhance button, then drag the slider to adjust the effect. Tap the photo to toggle between the adjusted version and the original.
Crop and straighten. Tap Crop button and drag the slider to adjust the angle of the photo or video if it needs to be straightened. To adjust the composition, drag the rectangle corners.
Add text, doodles, or callouts. Tap More button, tap Markup, then use any of the Markup tools to draw on the photo or add text, arrows, and shapes. Tap Done to close the Markup tools and then Done again to leave Edit mode.
Find and open a video clip. Tap Show Sidebar button, then tap Videos under Media Types to display all videos in your library. Tap a video to open it.
Trim your video. Tap Edit, then drag the handles at either end of the frame viewer. Tap Done when you’re finished, then either Save Video or Save Video as New Clip.
Make a collection of instructional videos and organize them into separate albums for each subject or grade level.
Use Markup to add text or shapes to a photo of a science project or experiment to label parts or clarify instructional concepts.
Experiment with adjustments such as vibrancy, warmth, noise reduction, and vignette to change the look and mood of your photos and videos. You can always revert back to the original no matter how many changes you make.
