With Live Loops, you can play, edit, and arrange musical ideas in real time like a DJ. Trigger any combination of loops in a sequence to mimic patterns found in nature, poetry, and machinery — or simply in a way that’s fun and sounds good.
Open a new Live Loops project. Create a project, tap Live Loops, and tap Electro Funk.
Play loops. Tap one or more cells to play them. Notice how each loop syncs in time with other active loops.
Play an entire column of loops at the same time. Tap Trigger.
Record a Live Loops performance. Tap Record button, then trigger a sequence of cells. Tap Play button when you’re finished.
View the tracks you just recorded. Tap Tracks View button. From here, you can also edit each track.
Create a soundtrack for a short story using Live Loops. Trigger recordings of important character quotes in a sequence that summarizes main ideas and follows the story arc.
Play music to represent different cultures and traditions. Use templates such as Chinese Modern, Rock, or Dubstep.
