Snap a screenshot of what’s on your screen and use Markup to highlight important elements. Use AirDrop to share a video recording of your screen with nearby colleagues, or save screenshots to Photos so you can integrate them into learning projects.

  • Go on an aerial scavenger hunt in a major city with Maps and take screenshots of what you find. Use Magnifier and other Markup tools to highlight points of interest.

  • Identify and share specific elements from a webpage. Snap a screenshot, use Magnifier, arrows, and text tools to draw attention to relevant details, then share the image using AirDrop.

Use Screenshot to capture a specific app window or even just a selected portion of it. Press Shift‑Command‑5, then choose from the various options to customize your screen capture.
