Siri is an intelligent personal assistant that helps you complete everyday tasks. Preview your daily calendar, set grading reminders, open the latest version of a document, and much more.

Try it.

Ask Siri to open an app or document on your Mac. Click the Siri icon in the menu bar or Dock, and say something like “Open Keynote.”

Apply it.

  • Use Siri to check the weather before leading an outdoor field trip. Say “Siri, what will the weather be like tomorrow?”

  • Use Siri to set timers for student tasks. Say “Siri, set a reading timer for 10 minutes.”

Change the way Siri speaks. Go to System Preferences to change the language and select from a variety of Siri voices.
