Enable accessibility features.

Mac supports vision, hearing, motor skills, learning, and literacy needs for everyone. Built‑in features help learners stay on task, hear descriptions of what’s on the screen, amplify what others are saying, and much more.

Apply it.

  • Support emerging literacy skills. Use VoiceOver to have Mac show words on the VoiceOver cursor as they’re being read aloud.

  • Use Siri to quickly turn a variety of accessibility features on or off. Say something like “Hey Siri, turn VoiceOver on.”

Turn accessibility features on and off quickly with the Accessibility Options window. You can use this window to access common accessibility features like Zoom, VoiceOver, and Sticky Keys.
